Brady Hotels Jones Lane

In my opinion, this hotel should be rated as a 3-star. We recently stayed there and explicitly mentioned during reservation that we were on our honeymoon, requesting a clean and functional room to fully enjoy our trip without any issues. 1. Despite arriving early and our room being ready, we were asked to pay extra for early check-in, which we declined and arrived at the scheduled time. 2. The receptionist was unwelcoming. 3. The room we were assigned was dirty, particularly the bathroom which was surprising considering the hotel appears to be newly built. I believe a hotel branding itself as a 4-star establishment should ensure the cleanliness of its rooms, as this is unacceptable. Additionally, the spaces between tiles changed color to black because they were not cleaned. Positive aspects: 1. When the air conditioning in our room malfunctioned, we were promptly relocated to another room with functioning air conditioning. 2. They securely stored our luggage until 2 PM, allowing us to explore the city. 3. The hotel's location couldn't be better.

As most of the reviews indicate the rooms are quite small however I personally didn't have a huge issue with the room size. The rooms were generally clean although some mould was showing on the shower sealant. Beds were very comfortable. The gym was rather disappointing as there are no weights available at all, just a few bikes and treadmills

Just had Christmas Eve at the Jones Lane Brady (Like I had family in the northern suburbs one day and another set in the south the next, right?). What you get for some rather keen pricing is a comfortable room with a tasteful modern vibe. Everything was scrupulously clean and the room prep was A1 perfect. The bed and linen were luxurious. If you check in on-line there is only limited contact with the staff but they all seemed pleasant, warm, and efficient. No sign of anywhere close for coffee and breakfast early on Christmas morning, but then that is what 5-star hotels are for. Fabulous location if you are in town for a touch of live theatre.
